An advertisement on a web page linking you to the advertiser's
page.

The number of times someone goes to your site.
3. Home
Page: The main page of your web site; often the
first page.
4. Host
Server: A computer that stores
multiple web sites and allows access to them via the internet.
5. Internet:
A collection of interconnected computers.

Intranet: A private web site that is set up and
maintained by a company or organization. Access is limited to
a specified group of people.
7. Stickiness:
The amount of time each person stays on your site.
8. Template:
A one design fits all approach to web design, resulting in the
creation of sites with identical formats (text and pictures
in the same location) and very limited graphics.
9. Web
Page: One file in a collection of files that make
up a web site.
10. Web
Site: A specific location on a host computer consisting
of one or more web pages accessible via the internet.

World Wide Web(WWW): All web
servers available on the Internet.
12. Uniform Resource Locator (URL):
Server and path information that locate a document (Web site)
on the internet.
